A country between two continents, multicultural richness and a turbulent past are the keys that define the character and identity of today's Turkey.
Cosmopolitan and eclectic Istanbul is a magical city where simply getting lost among its streets, bazaars and cafes is an experience that few forget. With this tour you will be able to enjoy the city and visit the most significant places, letting it tell its own story. You will be able to admire the rich cultural heritage of the country, with impressive buildings such as the Hagia Sophia Basilica or the Blue Mosque, and soak up the local spirit while visiting the Grand Bazaar or the Topkapi Palace.
The trip continues in Ankara, and Cappadocia where you will visit the essential sites: the Derben valley, the Goreme open-air museum-valley or the subway city of Kaymakli. We will continue to know another of the essential places in Turkey: Pamukkale and its natural pools of thermal waters and petrified waterfalls.
Finally, we will move to Ephesus, ancient city dedicated to Artemis, where we can visit curious places like the House of the Virgin and also leather production workshops.

Itinerary

Llegada a Estambul
Llegada al aeropuerto internacional de Estambul. Una vez realizados los trámites de inmigración y recogida de equipaje, un representante nos estará esperando para acompañarnos a nuestro transporte. A la llegada al hotel, procederemos al registro.
Resto del día libre. En función de la hora de llegada del vuelo internacional, tendremos tiempo libre para descansar o explorar la ciudad.

Day 2
Estambul - Excursión Bósforo + Sultanahmet
Salida para la visita del Bazar Egipcio (mercado de las especias) y, a continuación, recorrido en barco por el Bósforo, el estrecho que separa Europa de Asia, donde podremos disfrutar de la gran belleza de los bosques de Estambul, de sus palacios y de los yalı -palacetes de madera construidos en ambas orillas.
Almuerzo en restaurante local.
Por la tarde, visita del barrio Sultanahmet, donde podremos ver la plaza del Hipódromo Romano, la Mezquita Azul -única entre todas las mezquitas otomanas por tener 6 minaretes- y la espléndida Basílica de Santa Sofía, del siglo VI.

Day 3
Estambul - Ankara
Desayuno en el hotel.
Salida del hotel para visita del Palacio de Topkapı, residencia de los sultanes del imperio otomano, famoso por su excelente colección de joyas y porcelanas. (sala del haren con suplemento). Continuación para tiempo libre en el Gran Bazar (cerrado los domingos y fiestas religiosas), edificio que alberga más de 4000 tiendas en su interior.
En la hora combinada ( +|- 13:00 ) salida en autocar para Ankara, pasando por el puente intercontinental de Estambul.
Llegada a la capital del país.

Day 4
Ankara - Capadocia
Desayuno en el hotel.
Visita a la capital de Turquía con el Museo de las Civilizaciones de Anatolia con exposición de restos paleolíticos, neolíticos, , hitita, frigia Urartu y el Mausoleo de Ataturk, dedicado al fundador de la República Turca.
Salida en autobús hacia Capadocia (unos 290 km). En el camino, pararemos a visitar alguna de las ciudades subterráneas construidas por las comunidades cristianas para protegerse de los ataques árabes. La ciudad subterránea que visitaremos conserva los establos, salas comunes, salas de reuniones y pequeñas habitaciones para las familias.
Llegada al hotel de Capadocia.

Day 5
Capadocia
Excursión opcional en globo.
Al amanecer, posibilidad de participar en una excursión en globo aerostático, una experiencia única, sobre las formaciones rocosas, chimeneas de hadas, formaciones naturales, paisajes lunares... ¡Consulta con tu Travel Planner suplemento y condiciones! Desayuno en el hotel. Hoy dedicaremos el día a la visita de esta fantástica región, única en el mundo. El Valle de Goreme, con sus iglesias rupestres, pinturas de los siglos X y XI. Continuaremos la visita al pueblo troglodita de Uçhisar y el Valle de Derbent, con sus curiosas formaciones rocosas naturales; y tiempo para visitar talleres artesanales de alfombras y ónix (piedras semipreciosas). Regreso al hotel. Cena y alojamiento en el hotel de Capadocia.6
Day 6
Capadocia - Pamukkale
Desayuno y salida para Konya.
En el pre curso, parada para visitar el Caravanserail de Sultanhan de la época de Seljucidas Continuación para Pamukkale. Tiempo libre en Pamukkale “Castillo de Algodón”, único en el mundo con las piscinas termales de origen calcárea y las cascadas petrificadas.

Day 7
Pamukkale - Éfeso - Esmirna
Desayuno en el hotel y salida por carretera hacia Selçuk-Efeso. A la llegada, visitaremos las ruinas de la antigua Éfeso, ciudad dedicada a Artemis, donde podremos ver el Odeon, el Templo de Hadriano, la Casa de Amor, la Biblioteca de Celso, el Ágora, la calle de Mármor y el Teatro.
A contiuación, visitaremos la casa de la Virgen, la supuesta última morada de la Madre de Jesús y un centro de producción de cuero. Al finalizar la visita, traslado Izmir-Esmirna la tercera ciudad más importante de Turquía.

Izmir - Estambul (salida)
Desayuno en el hotel (si el horario del vuelo y del traslado al aeropuerto lo permiten) y traslado al aeropuerto.
