If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances prevent your trip from going ahead, you may cancel without penalty.
Will I get back the money I have paid?
Yes. In those circumstances, you will be entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid.
Does this apply to every type of trip?
It applies to package holidays: bookings that combine several travel services into one package, such as flights and accommodation.
Does every cancellation qualify for a refund?
No. It applies when the trip cannot go ahead because of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination or in its immediate vicinity, not to cancellations for personal reasons.
