Uganda: The Pearl of Africa
Uganda offers a unique experience in the world, shared only with Rwanda and Congo: the tracking and observation of mountain gorillas. An exclusive adventure, for true lovers of the African continent and nature.
Around 400 mountain gorillas, more than half of all the specimens existing in the world, live in the Impenetrable Forest of Bwindi, located in the western part of the country. Only 8 people per day can approach each gorilla family, making the experience one of the most exclusive in the world.
Being able to observe the gorillas up close is incredibly fascinating and exciting, and undoubtedly compensates for the effort of trekking, which can be quite demanding.
In addition to gorillas, Uganda offers the opportunity to see chimpanzees and other primates, go on safaris in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where the characteristic tree-climbing lions can be observed, take a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, among other activities.
