One of the last undiscovered gems: the whale shark concentrations in Qatar. This is undoubtedly the opportunity to explore a remote environment where nature and wildlife flourish, and to do so in utmost luxury.

Hidden in the Arabian Gulf, far from human action, there is a chance to witness one of the largest gatherings of whale sharks on the planet. Every year, hundreds of whale sharks gather in the waters off the northeastern coast of Qatar from April to September. Until now, the area has been closed to visitors, making it a privilege for only a few to enjoy this unique natural spectacle.

The port of Al Ruwais (an hour north of Doha) is the place where you embark on this incredible adventure. Once on the catamaran, the captain will formally welcome you and introduce you to the onboard facilities. The navigation lasts approximately two and a half hours to reach the Whale Shark Watching location, and during the journey, you will have the opportunity to learn more about these majestic (endangered) creatures from an expert guide. Once you reach the observation point, you will find yourself in the home of one of the largest populations of whale sharks in the world, where sometimes up to 300 specimens can be seen!
