The Ark Lodge Aberdare National Park is situated in the heart of Aberdare National Park, facing a large pond where hundreds of wild animals come to cool off each day. The hotel thus becomes an observatory center from where you can watch life unfold around you.

The Ark Lodge Aberdare National Park gets its name from Noah's Ark, a small 'bunker' that brings you closer to the natural environment. All rooms have similar features and are distributed across three floors or decks, resembling cabin-style accommodations.

One unique feature you will find in the room is a buzzer which the caretakers use to alert you to the presence of various animals nearby. The buzzer operates throughout the night, so if you wish, you won’t miss anything. If you prefer, you can turn off the buzzer to rest and recharge for the next day.

The hotel’s restaurant serves delicious breakfasts and dinners, with excellent views of the surrounding environment. Noteworthy is The Ark Cellar, the wine cellar with a wide selection of international wines. Lunch is only served at Aberdare Country Club, the sister hotel located a few kilometers away.
