Yangon – Bagan (Dhamayangyi Temple)

Breakfast in the hotel.

Departure in the morning to take the flight to the Nyaung-U airport, which serves Bagan (1h 20 min).

Once in Bagan, we will begin the visit going up to a temple from which we will obtain a panoramic view of the whole archaeological zone. Next, we will visit the most important temples and pagodas: the Shwezigon Pagoda, completed in the 11th century; the mammoth temple Dhamayangyi, built with reddish brick, solid and pyramidal and the Temple of Ananda, considered the masterpiece of Mon architecture of the eighteenth century. At the end of the visit to the temples we will stop at a traditional lacquer workshop, typical of the Bagan area, where we can learn about this curious process.

In the afternoon, horse carriage ride that will lead us through the ruins of the temples until we reach sunset hillock where we will climb up to witness the fabulous view and watch the sunset.
