Hoi An

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning, we visit the famous old town of Hoi An. This is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian commercial port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. We take a stroll through Hoi An’s ancient town to explore its treasures. The buildings and layout of the streets reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage. Then, we visit a lantern-making house, where you can learn how to make one!

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, a boat trip on the Thu Bon River, with a stop along the way at a village known for its traditional ceramics and carpentry.

Rest of the day free to enjoy the city or the beach (weather permitting).
