At the Tahiti Pearl Beach Resort & Spa they offer free demonstrations on the elaboration of its main local crafts, such as: traditional Tahitian embroidery, flower lei, tie-dyed pareo, as well as Tahitian dance classes and even aerobics and yoga courses.
It also offers free transportation to the centre of Papeete twice a day (except Saturday afternoons and Sundays).
From July to November, Matavai Bay is a safe haven for humpback whales. You can even see them in the morning from the balcony of your room at the Tahiti Pearl Beach Resort Polynesia, or while eating at the Hiti Mahana restaurant or even while having a drink at the Bay Bar.
