Some hotels even took the idea to the extreme. One&Only Reethi Rah, for example, once had a curious tradition: at check-in, guests were asked to hand over their shoes and their mobile phone. Everything was kept in a small bag and returned only on the day of departure. A radical approach, perhaps, but a very effective way to ensure guests experienced their stay without distractions.<\/p>\n\n\n
