This is the city of churches, mosques and synagogues, museums, towers and palaces.

The trip continues in Ankara, capital of the country and ends with two nights in Cappadocia where you will visit essential places such as the Derben Valley, the Goreme Valley-Open Air Museum or the Kaymakli Underground City.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Istanbul
Meet & Greet at the airport. Departure to Istanbul. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Hotel accommodation.
Day 2
Istanbul - Bosphorus + Sultanahmet Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive from your hotel to Spice Market for shopping and free time. Then meet and proceed to take 1,5 hrs bosphorus Cruise excursion along the bosphorus , that is dividing the 2 continents Asia & Europe . During the excursion you will enjoy the beauty of Istanbul , with its forest , Palaces and wooden old houses built on both continents. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch visit Sultanahmet Mosque, Hippodrome and the famous Hagia Sophia. Return to the hotel and free time to explore the city. Accommodation at the Istanbul hotel.
Day 3
Istanbul - "Jewels of Istanbul" Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit the Asian part of the city, on the other side of the intercontinental bridge of the Bosphorus. We will start our tour with a visit to the Beylerbeyi Palace, built in white marble by Sultan Abdülaziz in the 19th century. It has a magnificent garden with magnolias. The palace was used as a summer residence for the sultans and as a guest house for foreign dignitaries. On our way back to the European part we will visit the Basilica Cistern (Yerebatan), considered the most important water reserve in the city during the Byzantine times. (Lunch at a local restaurant) In the afternoon, we will visit the Eyup Quarter, the most revered Muslim shrine in Istanbul. After Mecca and Jerusalem it is the third most important pilgrimage site in the Islamic world. On the hill of the neighborhood, above the cemetery we'll visit the famous Pierre Loti café from where you can appreciate a wonderful view of the Golden Horn. Return to the hotel and free time to explore the city.
Day 4
Istanbul - Cappadocia
Breakfast en el hotel. Departure from the hotel to visit Topkapi Palace (harem section entrance free is not included ) the house of the ottoman sultans. Free time at Grand Bazaar. ( closed during the first day of the religious holidays ). Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon we will make a panoramic visit of the city, passing through the important neighborhoods of the historical part and the modern part of the city, including a walk through the pedestrian street of İstiklal. Transfer to the airport and take domestic flight to Cappadocia. Arrival to Cappadocia, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5
Optional Hot Air Balloon Tour.
In the early morning departure from your hotel . a chance to live this unique experience, an overlooking to Cappadocia from the sky , see the beauty of the region the rock formations, fairy chimneys, natural formations, lunar landscapes. Breakfast at the hotel. Full day visit at Cappadocia: visit Göreme Open Air Museum - a UNESCO Heritage site , a fantastic region with it’s cave churches located on the valley. Then proceed to Uchisar Village and then spectacular fairy chimneys. Visit Derbent Valley with and explore the natural rock formations and get a chance to attend the workshops of carpets and onyx-stones. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6
Cappadocia - Next destination
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the hotel to visit the valley of Kizilcukur. We will continue to visit the Cavusin village which is famous with it’s pottery Houses. Lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the underground city which was built by the ancient christians in order to hide from the Arab invadors. The underground city has grand saloons , Houses for families and chuches. After the tour transfer to the Airport.
