Istanbul – “Jewels of Istanbul” Tour

Departure for the visit of the Asian part of the city, crossing the intercontinental Bosphorus Bridge. We will start our tour with a visit to the Beylerbeyi Palace, which was built in white marble by Sultan Abdülaziz in the 19th century, and has a beautiful garden with magnolias. The palace was used as a summer residence for the sultans and as a guest house for foreign dignitaries. Back to the European side, we will visit the Basilica Cistern of Yerebatan, the most important water reservoir in the city during Byzantine times.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the Eyup Quarter, where the most revered Muslim shrine in Istanbul is located: after Mecca and Jerusalem, it is the third holiest place of pilgrimage in the Islamic world. On the hill of the neighborhood, above its picturesque cemetery, is the famous Pierre Loti Café, which has spectacular views of the Golden Horn.
